The biggest Primark of The Netherlands opened in The Hague (Den Haag) a little over a week ago (december 11) and I got to attend the special press opening! Today I’m sharing with you my photo report of that day. A haul showing all the goodies I shopped will be up either tomorrow or Monday.

I had already seen the new Primark before any of the other press, because I got interviewed as a ‘fashion expert’ about the store coming to The Hague by a big Dutch newspaper. Me and another blogger had our picture taken inside the store and got to see it while employees were still busy running around trying to straighten everything out for the big day.
This is what the store looked like without anyone in there. It was pretty busy at the press opening, so it was nice that I got the chance to see it without a crowd. The new Primark is quite different from the other 11 locations in The Netherlands. It for example has several ‘themed’ corners/walls that all have their own unique style. In general I think this Primark looks a lot fancier then the other locations.
At the press opening all sorts of different snacks and breakfast foods where available. How chic do these yogurt with granola jars look? I was still pretty full from breakfast (the press opening was at 09.30) so I didn’t eat much, but I’m making a mental note for future openings to not over-eat beforehand.
The Primark in The Hague is super big. It has three floors and a total surface of 5.296 m². Compared to the location I used to shop at this one is absolutely massive. I also really like the layout: the first floor is all women’s fashion, with a continuation on to the second floor. The second floor also features children’s clothing and night stuff. The third floor is al mens.
There are 287 Primark store spread all over Ireland, Great-Brittan, Germany, Portugal, The Netherlands, France, Spain Austria and Belgium. And good news for my American readers: the first American Primark will be opened in the fall of 2015 in Boston! I’m always showing off my Primark budget buys when I come over so I think my American friends will be pretty excited about Primark coming to the USA.
Primark is really famous for their onesies as most you of probably already know. Time flew during the press opening and I didn’t have much time to shop after so I didn’t managed to buy one for myself, but a got a couple as gifts.
I took this picture during the press opening. It was pretty packed, but lots of fun. I love meeting other bloggers. Some girls I only get to see during events as they live on the other side of the country. So it’s always nice when we get to hang out!
Primark now has it’s own mascot: Pete the Panda. Isn’t he cute? The lady that gave us a tour of the new store told me that Pete is going to play a bigger role in Primark from now on. In the Primark in The Hague they had an entire section dedicated to him!

Now my boyfriend Chris and I can go shopping during the week after office hours! Sometimes it’s so annoying that most stores in The Netherlands close at 18.00 already, except for Thursdays or Fridays depending on the city. I’m very happy with the new Primark in The Hague. A big thanks to Primark for inviting me to the press opening. I can recommend all of you to pay this new location a visit: it’s right on the corner of the main shopping street Het Spui and can be reached from the central train station by foot within a few minutes.
