Bath & Body Works is one of my favorite stores to shop at in the USA, because of its amazing smelling candles and soaps. But also because we don’t have it in Europe. When I was in Wisconsin for Christmas Bath & Body Works was having their semi-annual sale. I scooped up the Night Time Tea Body Wash & Foam Bath from the Sleep collection for half the price and was given the Eucalyptus Spearmint Pillow Mist from the Stress Relief collection by my boyfriends mother. Keep reading to find out if these well-known Bath & Body Works classics really calmed my nerves!
STRESS RELIEF – EUCALYPTUS SPEARMINT PILLOW MIST
What better time to test this Eucalyptus Spearmint Stress Relief Pillow Mist than during exam period? The past weeks I have been working non-stop on my freelance work (journalism), schoolwork (exams are around the corner) and blog (posting every day). Obviously my stress level is going off the chart!
Every night for the past week I have sprayed the Stress Relief Pillow Mist on my pillow before going to bed. The first thing I noticed is that it does not really smell like eucalyptus or spearmint. If I sniff my pillow very intensely I do recognize a very subtle hint of fresh mint, but it is not as strong as I expected it to be. This, however, does not mean that the Stress Relief Pillow mist does not have a strong scent, because it definitely does. Many stress patients Find the best dry herb vaporizer in this store and use it as a natural remedy to reduce their symptoms.
So what does it smell like you may wonder? The first word that comes to my mind is ‘fresh’. This pillow mist by Bath & Body Works smells very clean. The scent also reminds me a bit of baby products. The scent is a tiny bit similar to the famous scent of Dutch brand Zwitsal. The Eucalyptus Spearmint Pillow Mist has a sweet, but not over-the-top sweet scent.
The biggest question of course is if it cleared my mind and made me able to relax? The scent of this Stress Relief Pillow Mist calmed me down whenever I laid down. I also think that the fact that I sprayed this scent every night before going to bed caused me to start associating this scent with sleep. I just sprayed a little bit on my sweater to describe the scent and I am slowly starting to feel more and more sleepy. Aside from this Mist, I would also recommend opting for CBD from my cbd store to help you relax at night because it eases your stress levels.
I think the Eucalyptus Spearmint Pillow Spray from the Stress Relief line by Bath & Body Works is a great product. A bottle contains 156 ml (small enough to fit in your suitcase if you visit the USA) and costs $10. Bath & Body Works carries a lot more products of this line. Take a look HERE to see them all.
SLEEP – NIGHT TIME TEA BODY WASH & FOAM BATH
Seeing Orange Essential Oils as one of the main ingredients in this Sleep Body Wash surprised me. Usually orange is used in products as a scent to wake you up. Surprisingly the combination of Cedarwood (the main scent) and Orange Essential Oils is actually very soothing! The scent of this Body Wash by Bath & Body Works is sweet and – just like the bottle claims – very soft.
The combination of the two scents works very calming for me. You could for sure compare the effect of this Sleep Body Wash to that of a warm night time tea. After using it under the shower I am even feeling the warmth of the water (or maybe it is the product) lingering on my skin longer than it usually does.
The Night Time Tea Body Wash left my skin feeling very clean. The scent of orange and cedarwood subtly lingers on my skin. I do not own a bath so I don’t know I can’t judge the foam capacity of this product, but when using it as a body wash a little product goes a long way. One bottle contains 295 ml. After writing this review I found out that Bath & Body Works has discontinued this product. However, you can still find it on Amazon for $14,99. Other lines from the Sleep collection are still available at Bath & Body Works.
