Christmas is coming near, which means that pretty soon I’ll be going on my annual trip to the USA again. Next to seeing family and friends again while celebrating the holidays something I also always look forward to is after-Christmas-shopping! What is on this year’s wish list?
On top of my list is a pair of Timberlands. My first pair of Timberlands, rust colored tall boots, and I have been inseparable ever since I bought them last Christmas. I however feel that it’s time to add a little sister to my Timberland family: a pair of ankle boots. I’m loving the two in the picture above, but both have their flaws. The color and fabric on the left is the most beautiful, but the style of the right one is the best. I don’t really like the pattern of the left one and I know that the dark stains of the right one will fade quickly. Decisions, decisions… I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what Santa will bring me this year haha!
Lush, a great example of how blog marketing works. The ‘Let the Good Times Roll‘ facial cleanser has been receiving praise from bloggers and youtubers from all over the world. Making people like me want it. Now that’s not 100% true as I’ve always had a soft spot for Lush ever since they opened a store nearby my house; every time I walk by the smell just draws me in. Even though I call my self a beauty blogger I have no skin care routine whatsoever. And though I might have been quite in front of the row when the skin genes were given out, I’ve noticed my skin becoming more fragile and blemish sensitive as I become older. The Let the Good Times Roll facial cleanser I think therefore is a good product to kick start a personal skin care regime with.
Bath ball on the other side is called Cinders as get’s described on the Lush site as ‘a sweet and spicy bomb inspired by fireside gatherings with family and friends. That combines crackling vegan candies with stimulating cinnamon leaf oil to recreate the warmth of the hearth’. Well if that doesn’t sound wonderful to you then I don’t know what would!
Em Cosmetics is the skin care line of Michelle Phan, if you don’t know about this know click ‘here‘ to read my article on it. I’m kind of cheating by putting the Night Life Palette and the Shade Play Concealer Palette on my wish list because I already ordered them, but because EM Cosmetics doesn’t ship to Europe yet I had these beauties delivered to my boyfriend’s family’s house, meaning that I have yet to get my hands on them.
The Night Life Palette costs $ 75,- and the Shade Play 30,-. However during black friday EM had a great deal going on: 50 dollar of any 100 dollar purchase so in the end I only paid 55 dollar for the two palettes together! And after converting this to euros I only pay € 41,62. I can’t wait to try both palettes out!
Which girl doesn’t love Victoria Secret? May it be their great products, the beautiful faces that endorse them (even though my favorite one jumped of the band wagon) or the magnificent show that’s given every year. During my visit to the USA this past summer I fell in love with both the Victoria Secret sleep tee’s as well as a beautiful red bra I saw. Having shopped quite a bit already, I decided not to buy them. After Christmas American stores always have insanely good deals, so I’m hoping to again scoop up some Victoria Secret goodies for little this year.
BATH AND BODY WORKS
Last Christmas I discovered the scent Candy Apple at Bath and Body Works. Usually I’m not a fan of candy like smells but this one is just delicious. The body mist I bought last year will probably last me another year, so instead I’m planning go either get a candle or a shower gel… or maybe even both…
Another one of my holiday favorites at Bath and Body Works is ‘Evergreen’. Chris’ stepmother introduced me to it. She bought an evergreen candle because they have a fake christmas tree and this wonderful candle just makes your entire room smell like you have a pine tree that was just taking out of the forest standing in there. At Bath and Body Works the Christmas products also always go on sale after Christmas.
Want to know if I managed to get my hands on all of the lovely items? Keep tuned for a haul video that will follow once I return from the States. And to all family and friends: this is more of a shopping list for myself then an actual wish list so please don’t buy me anything too expensive!
