I’m super excited because elven days from now I’ll be hopping on a plane to the USA (technically first to Sweden for a layer over). Seeing all my boyfriends family and friends again will be amazing, but I’m looking forward to doing some shopping as well! A lot of brands I love or want to try out are sold in the USA and because of the exchange rate between the dollar and the euro shopping will be extra fun for me! Let me share with you my USA beauty wish list
1. MAC mono eyeshadow
I’ve regretted not buying a MAC mono eyeshadow every since I set my virgin steps into Macy’s around Christmas time with a gift card from my ‘future-step-mom-in-law’ worth enough to buy me a large MAC mono. At the time I wanted to buy something that would last forever as a memory. However I can’t forget how great the pigmentation was of these eyeshadows and I will for sure buy either a mono or a MAC lipstick.
2. ELF make-up
American (and non American) Youtubers seem to go crazy about this budget brand, especially their blush. ELF doesn’t sell here in Netherlands and after hearing so much about it I’d love to try it out. What product from ELF would you recommend to buy and try out (review on the blog)?
3. Bath & Body Works
Now I’m totally in love with Bath & Body Works, especially with their candles. They last forever! Last year I bought an ever green candle and even though I burned it quite often there is still so much left.I can’t believe that there is no Bath & Body works in the Netherlands. For non American readers: Bath & Body works is an American store that sells soap, fragrances, candles, personal care and lifestyle items. I know candles aren’t really beauty products, but they help you relax which leads to a better skin so they have a right to be on this list haha! 😉
For those of you that don’t know: Sephora recently LEFT the Netherlands, which is obviously devastating for me and other beautylovers! There are certain beauty products that were only sold at Sephora. I have to get a few of their amazing eye liner pencils (which I wrote a review about here), for my grandma, mom and I! I also hope to scoop up a make up palette, maybe from Urban Decay.
Next to the above stores/brands, I’m obviously also looking forward to visiting Victoria Secret, Timberland, Forever21, Windsor and so on!
What is your favorite American beauty products/store?
