Are you obsessed with plaid this season? I sure am! During our summer holiday in the United States both the scarf and dress featured in this post caught my eye. It was sunny, I was wearing shorts and I was NOT in the mood for winter shopping, but I knew I would regret leaving the country without these two items! I’m sure glad they made their way into my suitcase and onto the blog so I can share them with you. We have experimented with a different, more artsy style of photography for this post, very curious to hear what you all think!
We shot these photos in Rotterdam, home to the largest port in Europe. During World War II large areas of Rotterdam were flattened by bombs. The city therefore has a very modern feel to it, which I wanted to capture in these outfit photos. However, for one reason or another we ended up at one of the few buildings that survived the attacks: the former post office. Sometimes you find great things, when you aren’t looking for them.
By the way: I hope you are having a great Sunday! We are currently in Valkenburg, which is located in the most southern point of The Netherlands to visit the Christmas markets. This year will be our first year not going to the United States for Christmas, which is sad, but it also means that we get to decorate our first Christmas tree together! Can’t wait to shop some awesome decorations here.
