They say that time flies when you’re having fun. And for me the past month literally flashed by in a nano second! I celebrated my 22nd birthday by going out for sushi, flew to Spain to meet up with a friend and attended several blogger events. Take a look at my past month in pictures!
My dear boyfriend Chris surprised me for my birthday by taking me out for sushi. One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to in The Netherlands.
That same week I went out to dinner with my Korean class. Of course we had Korean BBQ. I live in the The Hague area and never realized that we have an authentic Korean BBQ place hidden right in the city centre. The name of the place is Seoul Garden.
Marti and his family are amazing cooks. We had an amazing seafood paella. Even Chris, who generally isn’t that into seafood and fish, absolutely loved it. To be honest: I think he tried more kinds of fish and seafood that weekend than I ever have! Very proud of him!
We stayed in Altea, a gorgeous Spanish town near Valencia. The old town stole my heart, it’s so beautiful. Travel report of Spain will be up soon!
After coming back from Spain I developed a bad cold (the transition from sunny and warm to rainy and cold probably didn’t help). My cold than decided to turn into a sinusitis infection… Luckily I started feeling better after a couple days of rest and lots of honey lemon ginger teas.
I attended Ziaja’s skincare event in The Hague, which was hosted by Dutch beauty blogger Serena Verbon. The event was so much fun: I got to meet many awesome bloggers and was allowed to take ten (!) products home! Reviews are coming up!
Together Chris and I attended the Wear For Love event in Amsterdam. I hoped to finally meet one of my favorite bloggers, Kelly from Kellycaresse.nl in the flesh, but we just missed each other! Bummer. Hopefully we have better luck next time!
After the Wear For Love event it was time for the opening of Shoeby’s flagship store in The Hague! I ran into some blogger friends, made some more and met tons of people. Honestly, if you are ever in The Hague visit Shoeby. The store is amazing (it has a cafe inside!) and the clothing is super nice and affordable. A detailled post describing the event is coming up!
I usually post a diary post every other week, but this month it didn’t work out that way because I fell sick. Hope you enjoyed this long photo filled diary though! If you did please leave a comment and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram to get a daily peek behind the scenes of The Beauty Suitcase.
