I am probably the last person to catch onto the healthy eating trend judging by the amount of girls in my university that eat only spelt bread, avoid sugar and bake the most delicious healthy treats. This past week I discovered an amazing healthy food blog that inspired me to start looking at my own food intake. And I also reached a milestone on YouTube. Take a look at my life in pictures!
This past week was again mostly spend behind my computer studying and blogging.
I do not seem to handle caffeine very well so in order to stay energized (and warm) while studying I’ve reverted to a healthier alternative: fresh mint tea with honey! Absolutely loving the cast iron tea pot I gave Chris for his birthday last year.
I reviewed the above products by Bath and Body Works this week. Read this article to find out if they helped to relieve my exam stress!
I reached 100 subscribers on my YouTube channel two days ago! As i’m writing this the number has already gone up to 111! Thank you to everyone that has subscribed. It means a lot to me.
Now that we are on the topic of YouTube: I participated in the €3 challenge by Dutch blogger Serena Verbon from Beautylab.nl. I came up with a bacon tomato risotto recipe!
Thanks to an article in The Daily Mail I found out about the blog Deliciously Ella, which is all about healthy plant based nutrition. Reading her story and browsing through her recipes really inspired me to start looking at my own food intake. Being thin does not equal a healthy diet. My genes let me get away with eating a lot of bad food. However, I believe that I would feel a lot more energized and be sick less often if I were to start eating healthier. To give healthy eating a try I made Ella’s Cinnamon and Paprika Sweet Potato Wedges and they were absolutely delicious! I am hooked!
The past week I also shared the above bargain fashion find with you guys. And guess what? I bought it! Can’t wait for it to arrive. Fingers crossed that it fits!
And that was my diary post again! Hope you liked this little peek into my life.
