I keep saying this, but I’ll say it again: time flies when you’re having fun. Within the past two weeks I got interviewed by a big daily newspaper thanks to whom I got to see the inside of the new Primark in The Hague before anyone else did, worked hard on my blog and flew to New York for a city trip before we continue on to Wisconsin for Christmas. Take a look at my life in pictures!
Working hard on my blog before leaving to the USA for our annual two week Christmas holiday. My boyfriend Chris is American, but lives in The Netherlands so we always try to spend Christmas with his family.
I got interviewed by Dutch daily newspaper ‘Algemeen Dagblad’ about the opening of the new Primark in The Hague. Me and Hanneke from Fareli Blog were asked to come to the Primark for a picture and got to see the place before anyone else did!
I love how the picture turned out! I even ended up buying the hat. I translated the part of the article about me in English, you can read it HERE.
It was very nice to see the store before anyone else, because even at the press opening which I got to attend it was quite busy! An article about the opening and a haul (I bought a lot!) are on their way.
This cutie was accompanying me while I was working hard to meet several deadlines (I work as a freelance journalist for multiple local magazines) before we could go to the USA. The days leading up to our holiday are always quite stressful: Christmas shopping, deadlines, packing, blogging; the list goes on and on.
He can be pretty cute at times!
Shot some outfit pictures for the blog with my new Shoeby vest. See the full outfit HERE.
Reviewed the Unlimited Stylo lipsticks in 001 and 002 by Kiko. The 002 one is my new go-to lipstick. It lasts very long and doesn’t dry out your lips.
This package from Trinité Village arrived just in time for me to take to the USA. I can’t wait to try out all these lovely looking bath goodies. They smell absolutely amazing. A review will be up on this blog shortly.
Off we go! During our flight we saw another plane flying next to us. It was such an amazing sight! The plane later crossed under neath us. I think this is the coolest picture I’ve ever taken from inside an airplane.
And then we were in New York! I was blown away. I’ve been to Tokyo, Seoul and Chicago, but none of them feel as ‘big’ as New York does even though the first two are in fact much larger. I think it must be the amount of people walking around NYC and the number of billboards.
We went for breakfast at this local eatery. I had an amazing pancake breakfast (one of my favorite American breakfast foods). I devoured the food before I thought of taking a decent picture so here is a picture of the cheese cake display as compensation haha!
Yesterday we walked around Central Park and did some shopping on Times Square. It’s super busy right now in New York, because of Christmas coming up. We are only in New York until Monday, but will be in the USA (Wisconsin, where Chris’ family is from) until the end of December.
With Love,
Elise Mooijman
Leuke foto’s! Die cheesecake display ziet er erg aantrekkelijk uit hihi. Heel veel plezier nog en geniet ervan!
Bring home some of the New York Cheesecake for me!
Wat een prachtige foto vanuit het vliegtuig, ik heb het vaker gezien en was steeds te laat met foto’s maken. Wat onwijs gaaf dat je het hebt weten vast te leggen! Heel veel plezier in NY city!
