I made it to the frontpage of a big newspaper! Dutch daily paper ‘Het Algemeen Dagblad’ interviewed me as a fashion blogger for their The Hague publication about the opening of Primark in The Hague. Curious about the article? I translated the part in which I’m featured to English! Quickly scroll down to read!

I translated the part in the article about me. Before you start reading I’d like to say that I like the article quite a bit, but I have to say that some of my words did get a bit twisted. I for example never said that other bloggers were ‘really sad’ that they didn’t get an invite. I merely stated that some were slightly disappointed and I never compared the Primark to De Bijenkorf.
The translated article:
While Hanneke (the other blogger in the picture) patiently has to wait until 11:00 tomorrow just like all the other Primark fans is fashion blogger Elise Mooijman (22) one of the lucky ones that already gets to set foot on Primark soil at 09:30.
The Delft resident writes an article on her blog The Beauty Suitcase about the opening and has therefore been given a press invite by the organization. “I will get to explore the store and fill my bag with the new collection in the morning together with a small group of bloggers. A few bloggers were really sad that they didn’t get an invite.”
Hanneke and Elise have already gotten a glimpse of the latest collection as the photograph for this newspaper was shot on Tuesday inside the new primark. A glimpse, that didn’t disappoint. “Such beautiful stuff! And the store is massive,” says a glowing Elise. “Much fancier than other Primarks that I’ve been to. It almost looks a bit like De Bijenkorf (a fancy Dutch department store). I can’t wait to go shopping tomorrow!”.
Zoetermeer used to be the closest Primark for Elise. “But from Delft, where I live, that location is hard to reach. I unfortunately couldn’t go there that often. That is for sure going to change now, because I often go to Den Haag (The Hague).”
A tip that Elise wants to share is that you shouldn’t attempt to visit Primark in the middle of the day. “Go there around closing time. It’s a lot quieter early in the morning or in the afternoon around 17:30. Everything is still hanging neatly on the clothing racks then or has been straightened out again by employers. What a lot of people don’t know is that Primark is open until 18:30. If you go in the afternoon there is still plenty of time to shop.
For those of you that know me personal and now think that I’ve moved: I told the reporter that I lived half the time with my parents in Nootdorp and half the time with my boyfriend in Delft. As a journalist myself I can completely understand that the reporter didn’t have the space to explain this. So to make a long story short: no I haven’t moved (yet).
It was really cool to have seen the brand new Primark even before the blogger opening. I totally fell in love with the head I’m wearing in the picture as a prop and ended up buying it! An article about the blogger opening will be up soon!
